A Teacher's Checklist for the First Week With Eduzo

The first week with Eduzo is about building a comfortable, repeatable routine. Start with familiar content, test the activity and teach children how to take turns and respond. Once the class is comfortable, try automatic roll call, manual selection or team play, then review the learning report to identify what needs attention next. By the end of the week, teachers can choose a simple routine that fits naturally into their timetable and build from there.

A Teacher's Checklist for the First Week With Eduzo

The first week is about building a comfortable routine. With classroom setup completed during onboarding, teachers can begin with familiar content and learn the workflow a step at a time.

Use these checkpoints across your first few sessions. They do not require an Eduzo lesson every day.

Before the first session: Choose something familiar

Log in and select an available lesson linked to a concept your class has already studied. Preview the instructions and try the response method.

Begin with ready-to-use content. Custom questions can wait until you know which activities fit your teaching best.

Check the screen, sound and play spot, then decide whether this first session is for shared practice or individual turns.

First session: Teach the routine

Demonstrate one turn. Show children where to stand, how to respond and when to return to their seats.

Let the class practise the interaction with a familiar question. This helps separate learning to use the game from learning a new concept.

Give seated children a simple instruction: think of an answer before the player responds. During individual assessment, ask them to keep that answer to themselves.

Next session: Let Eduzo organise the turns

Try automatic roll call and set a suitable playing time. Allow time for changeovers as well as play.

Use manual selection if you want to demonstrate something again or give a child another opportunity. Check that children who missed the first session are included.

After a session: Open the report

Review the student or class report with one question in mind: which skill needs attention next?

Choose one useful action, such as a class recap or relevant practice for a few children. There is no need to turn the first report into a separate analysis exercise.

By the end of the week: Choose your regular slot

Decide which routine feels practical: a short recap, team practice or a period for individual assessment. Keep using it while the class becomes familiar with Eduzo.

Share any difficulty with the Eduzo team, whether it concerns selecting content, running an interaction or understanding a report. A successful first week gives you a routine you can repeat confidently.

Keep learning. Keep moving.

Teaching Number Sense Through Movement: A Classroom Activity Guide

Number sense is about more than recognising numbers. Children need opportunities to connect numbers with quantities, compare groups and explore different ways to make a total. Simple movement activities—such as showing a number with fingers, splitting counters into groups or finding a hidden quantity—can make these ideas more interactive. With Eduzo, teachers can extend these activities through games and visual tasks, then use recorded responses to guide the next stage of practice.

How to Create and Assign Questions by Bloom's Level With Eduzo

Custom questions can help teachers align Eduzo activities more closely with their lessons and learning goals. Bloom’s Taxonomy provides a useful framework for deciding whether a question asks children to recall, apply or reason, while the response format should match the thinking you want to assess. By creating, previewing and assigning focused questions, teachers can build reusable activities and use the resulting reports to plan meaningful follow-up practice.
